He was the Chair of the 2003 Clinical Practice Guidelines expert committee for the Canadian Diabetes Association and has been Chair and Vice-Chair for the Clinical and Scientific Section of the Canadian Diabetes Association. |

Interests: |
Dr. Harris conducts research with a focus on Type 2 diabetes in high-risk populations including Aboriginal Canadians, vulnerable populations, the application of clinical practice guidelines for the management of diabetes in primary care, and evaluation of primary care reform.
